On Sunday, December 19, 2021, our choir director and piano virtuoso Gleb Ivanov performed a "Christmas Solo Piano Recital" in front of a few dozen guests. The recital included classical treasures by Schubert-Liszt, Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. The highlight of the recital was Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition," (Картинки с выставки) culminating in the majestic "ringing of bells" of the "Bogatyr Gates of Kiev" ("Богатырские ворота. В стольном городе во Киеве").
Following the recital, a reception in Gbleb's honor was held in the parish hall.
